Medical disclaimer

Easy Meds is a nursing pharmacology and pathophysiology study aid. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, calculate patient-specific doses, or provide clinical decision support. Educational content may be incomplete, simplified, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular patient.

Always verify information using current official drug references, institutional policy, the medication order, and a qualified healthcare professional. Never delay emergency care or make a patient-care decision based only on this app. Contact local emergency services for an emergency.

Data collection and advertising measurement

Easy Meds does not require an account, does not access HealthKit, and does not collect patient health information.

Versions of Easy Meds that include the TikTok Business SDK share information with TikTok to measure and improve advertisements promoting Easy Meds. This includes app events such as installation, app launches, and return visits, together with device and technical information.

The SDK can transmit device identifiers, tracking-permission status, IP address, device model, operating-system version, and language or region settings. The advertising identifier is subject to Apple's tracking-permission controls. In-app purchase events may also be reported when purchase reporting is enabled.

This information is transmitted to TikTok even though Easy Meds does not operate its own user-account server. TikTok's processing is governed by its applicable privacy policies and business data terms.

Android waitlist

If you choose to join the Android waitlist, we collect the email address you provide and, if supplied, your first name through Google Forms. Responses may be stored in a Google Sheet associated with Easy Meds.

We use this information only to send Android launch and availability updates that you agreed to receive. Joining the waitlist is optional. Easy Meds does not sell this information.

Google processes the form responses as a service provider. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe or request deletion of your waitlist information at any time by emailing easymedsadmin@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your nickname and appearance preference; favourites, XP, streaks, achievements, and lesson progress; and an optional profile photo selected by you. These study and profile records are stored locally on your device.

Local storage of these records is separate from the app events and device information described in the advertising measurement section above.

Subscriptions and payments

Easy Meds subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes payment and billing information. Easy Meds does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

The app receives transaction and subscription-entitlement information from Apple to unlock paid access and restore purchases. In versions with TikTok purchase reporting enabled, purchase-event information may also be shared with TikTok for advertising measurement. This does not include your full payment-card details.

Free trials and subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account subscription settings.

Profile photos

If you choose a profile photo, Apple’s photo picker gives Easy Meds access only to the image you select. The app creates a resized copy and stores it locally. Easy Meds does not upload the photo. You can remove it from the Profile screen.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences and progress remain on the device until you change them, reset them through available app controls, or delete the app. Removing Easy Meds deletes its locally stored app data, subject to the device’s Apple-managed backup and restore settings.

Easy Meds does not operate a user-account server. However, deleting the app does not automatically delete information previously sent to TikTok or information you submitted to the Android waitlist. Information held by third parties is subject to their retention practices.

Sources and methodology

Medication concepts were selected and summarized from instructor-provided PNM 300 pharmacology lecture materials (2026), covering CNS, cardiovascular, renal, gastrointestinal, endocrine, pain, antimicrobial, and respiratory medications.

Principal textbook identified in the pharmacology course materials:
Sealock, K., Seneviratne, L., Lilley, L. L., & Snyder, J. S. (2020). Pharmacology for Canadian Healthcare Practice (4th Canadian ed.). Elsevier.

Pathophysiology lessons draw on instructor-provided lecture materials covering disease processes, cellular changes, inflammation, fluid balance, and body systems.

The source material was reorganized into short lessons, medication summaries, flashcards, and quiz questions for study. Easy Meds is not affiliated with or endorsed by the course institution, the textbook authors, or Elsevier.

Accuracy and updates

Medical knowledge, pharmacology guidance, product information, and institutional policies change. Easy Meds does not guarantee that every entry is complete, current, or error-free. Users should compare study content with current product monographs, authoritative references, and their institution’s policies.

Children’s privacy

Easy Meds is intended for nursing learners and is not directed to children under 13.
